Welcome to Japan Treasure Hunters I'm Jonathan Lucas and today we were planning on doing a tutorial inside because the weather was not so great however, if you look outside it's pretty nice weather actually today but we're still going to do this. So basically the tutorial today will be what I see what I hear when I go out detecting outside the base here. I've got Japanese coins, American coins, some artifacts, some old Japanese coins that will test on my AT Max and so I'm ready to get started. Okay so the first coins we're going to do are the American coins as seen in this picture.
So the first coin will be the penny and as you can see the pennies kind of bouncing around 70 74 or 75ish in t hat area it's not it's not too solid and of course depending on the angle of the coin in the ground that also determines and it's in its kind of bouncing around the one penny mark. So the next one we're going to do is a modern nickel. That's pretty much all we're going to find base up here is modern and stuff so as you can see it's bouncing 51 52 ish around in that area and it's pretty much right under the nickel mark. it's just under a nickel. All right so next we're going to do the hundredyen coin and as you can see it's actually almost reading up is the same as the five yen 50 51 52ish and that's right under the nickel mark. All right so the next coin is my personal favorite of the modern coin sit's the 500 yen coin. Which is about a five dollar coin give or take the yen rate for the day. Buy the world's best metal detector for gold hunting. So you can see as it's ringing up 65 and it's in the gold range and it's just a little bit above the pull tab so depending on the way it's sitting in the ground will depend on the actual reading in you might not dig it because it'll bounce in and out of the pull tab range. All right so next we're going to go over my Japanese antique old coins as you can see here. So the first one will be the Daichi Tsuho. Which is roughly 1333 1351ish that age. This is absolutely the oldest coin that I've found. So as you can see it's reading up about 47 and it's just under a nickel.
